In order to score any of the prices with the sales and other offers CVS has, you will need to sign up for an ExtraCare card. You can ask your cashier for it, and then immediately start using it and taking advantage of the store offers!

You can go to the ExtraCare Coupon Center to print out special offers every time you visit. You will get instant savings on sale items advertised in the circular.

Using Coupons

  1. You cannot get overage from using coupons. So a $5 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value.
  2. You can use multiple coupons on a BOGO sale.
  3. You can use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale and get both items free!!!

You can use:

• Two $3 off $15 coupons for purchases that are $30.00 or higher.
• $3 off $15 coupon and $5 ExtraBucks® Rewards for a purchase of $15.
• $1 off toothpaste mfr. coupon and a $2 off toothpaste Coupon Center coupon for a $3 toothpaste item.

 Cvs ShoppingExtraBucks

The ExtraBucks Rewards will print on your receipt when you make a qualifying purchase. You can find them advertised in the weekly ads or in the stores on the shelf tags. They will have limits, but don’t worry they are always listed as such on the tags or in the ads.

To redeem these ECBs you just need to present your rewards coupon and the linked ExtraCare card to cashier when you cash out. Your rewards coupon will expire if not redeemed by expiration date on the coupon.

Sales

Each week CVS offers a ton of sales in their weekly flier. In that ad you can find special items that offer the ECBs. This coupon is called an “Extra Care Buck”.  You can use this coupon on your next purchase just like you would with cash. We always say that you want to keep rolling your ECBs over and over. The goal would be to use the ECBs you earned from your last transaction to buy something in the next transaction which would result in you paying less out of pocket for those orders. Make sure you are purchasing items that give back ECBs so that you can keep this method going.

Some sales may last for a week and some may last for a whole month. These sales will be listed as such on the tags.

Stacking Coupons

CVS allows stacking of coupons. That means you can use a manufacturers coupon and a store coupon on the same items when available. This will allow for extra savings!

One of my personal favorites at any store are clearance finds! You can totally use coupons on these items that are clearanced at CVS. Typically we see the same mark downs at all stores or will eventually. If you see something marked only 30% off then chances are it may go lower, but that depends on how long it sits on the shelves for too.

Out of Stock

If you cannot find an item you want in the store and it was advertised on sale in the weekly ad, you can ask for a rain check. The rain check will allow you to get the item for that sale price next time they have it in stock.

Hope this Helps!!
