DIY Caterpillar Play-dough reusing Baby Food Jars!

How cute are these little caterpillars?! My friend Sara is quite crafty when it comes to Birthday Parties for her kiddos! This time she made some home made play dough and put them in baby food jars!

You can make them too!

  • Grab & clean out a baby food jar
  • Add a brown pipe cleaner around the top of the lid for antennas
  • Twist & tie the pipe cleaner around the top, and the ends
  • Trace Cut out red (or your choice of color) paper to go on the lid as the head
  • Add paint or googly eyes and a mouth
  • Cut out a leaf shape to add the “how – to” make play – dough for your guests

Ingredients of Home Made Play Dough:

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup of Salt
  • 1 TBSP Oil
  • 2 TSP Cream of Tartar

Mix ingredients together in a pan on medium heat on stove top. Mix until ball forms. Take out and cool on wax paper. Knead until soft. Put in your baby food jar!
