Credit-Card Breach at Target – Please Check your Accounts!

If you shopped in stores at Target on Black Friday, or anytime in the past month and used a credit card you may want to keep track of your account. Target stores information has been breached. Target Corp said data from about 40 million credit and debit card accounts might have been stolen from customers who shopped in its stores over a 19-day period. Target announced that the breach involved nearly all of Target’s 1,797 stores in the United States and investigators believed the data was obtained via software installed on point-of-sales terminals used to swipe magnetic strips on payment cards.
