Kellogg’s Pop Tarts, 12 ct – $2.49 (BONUS Monopoly tickets!!)

So at first glance you may think the smaller box is a better deal because you would only be paying $1.67 per box compared to the $2.16 price of the larger one. but what you want to do is divide the cost you would be paying after coupon by the count in the box. So here is the breakdown:

Pop Tart 8 count box cost $1.67 (you divide $1.67 by 8) = $0.21 for each pop tart

Pop Tart 12 count box $2.16 (you divide $2.16 by 12) = $0.18 for each pop tart

So after doing the math, it is close but you can see that the price per pop tart is a few cents lower when you get the larger boxes. So if this is something you go through a lot of the better deal would be to grab the larger boxes! 🙂
