Wahoooo!!!! Today, July 12th marks 2 years since I first started posting deals on My Momma Taught Me. It just started as a Facebook page until this past December when my husband surprised me with this webpage! Since then I have been able to do so much more with an actual webpage! I am so glad all of you have stuck through since the beginning, and glad to have all you new comers as well!! 🙂
It all started when my friends on facebook started asking how I was doing this or how I was getting that deal. So I would email them and tell them. Then before you know it I have quite a few emailing me often, so I decided to make a facebook page to help everyone learn how to coupon and share the deals I get. And that’s how My Momma Taught Me started! Ohhh and the name!!! Of course says it all 😉 My Momma Taught Me how to coupon! She has been couponing every since I was a baby!
So onto the GIVEAWAYS!!! I will be posting a new giveaway every day for 7 days. Each Day you can enter the giveaway by following how to in each one. You will have until July 19th to enter them all. On July 20th I will announce all of the 7 winners 🙂 All these giveaways are sponsored by myself, so they are not as big as some (sorry! still new to it all, hope to have bigger ones in future!)

My cousin knew I had started couponing after i became a stay at home mom for my two young boys to help save money because one income was making things very tight but I didn’t want to go to work and but my newborn and one year old boys in daycare. Happy Anniversary I found you because one of your followers told me about your site, I have now told others and coupons are on my lips all the time not to mention on my mind ( can’t sleep) LOL ‘So thankful for Christine telling me you and you doing what you do , to kindle the coupon FIRE in all of us. I did couponing many years ago and stopped. I started because of Tops gas points. My Grandma couponed with me when I was little and she passed away in late October 2012 Yesterday my dad dropped off a box of things of grandmas for me to look to see if I wanted any . In it was a change purse with and old No EX date and my picture of when I was 8 I cried to think back of the shopping trips with her and I now am doing it again. Her coupon is now in my binder I see it along with my picture of me to remind me of my heritage she passed to me and I will pass to my kids.
