What to do with Blocks of Cheeses

If you are a Tops Markets shopper, then you may have been purchasing a lot of these little bricks of cheese like myself. You may wonder what in the world should you do with all this cheese to store it? Well here are the ways I store them and use them.

1. Shred the Cheese

It is super easy to shred the cheese and put it in freezer bags to store. The shredded cheese is easier to use when frozen then the whole block. Moth mother has been doing this for years. You may have to do it by hand or invest in a cheese shredder (I’ve been thinking about it).

2. Slice the Cheese

Another thing you can do is slice the cheese. You can do thick or thin slices, which ever you prefer. Think about using them on sandwiches or even for a nice cheese platter during the holidays or even birthdays.

3. Cube the Cheese

Why not cube the cheese? Cut them up into small chunks and you can use them with your meals or toss them in a bag to freeze as well.

These are just some of the ways I use my blocks of cheese. What do you do with yours?
