Great Educational Items Found At The Target Dollar Spot 2018
While stopping into Target this summer to look for some clearanced goodies I of course had to stop at the Dollar Spot. The Dollar Spot is always located right when you walk in the doors and has numerous items mostly priced at $1.00, but some upwards to $5.00. The area changes for seasons and occasions. To my surprise they finally had out some wonderful back to school items. There is a wide range of items you can use from supplies to decor to material. I wanted to share with you my favorite finds. Look at the ones above I found to hang in out classroom!!! So fitting as I am always telling my, very critical of every thing she does daughter, that it’s okay if you are not perfect.
I’m a sucker for any cute decor for our school room as well. Check out these adorable block signs you can put on your desks! Coffee one speaks right to me! These would also make for great gift ideas for teachers as well.
Being a homeschool mom I am always on the look out for any short of educational items we can use at home. Every since my kiddos were toddlers I loved finding these sort of things at stores. It is so much fun when you find new material or games to play with your kids. My daughter spotted these small building blocks for just $1.00 at Target. We had to get them! They remind us of the Building Blocks we use at home. These are super tiny but my girls loved them and have fun creating different items using these.
I also found various writing pads like the ones pictured above that are great for elementary aged children. Many even had characters on them. At only $1.00 these are great to buy and even put in the vehicle for them to practice writing when you are out and about. No need to pay more than $1.00 for these when you can pick them up at Target…love it! I used to even bring them into restaurants for my kiddos to be occupied while waiting for food. The draw and wipe away ones are amazing and only $1.00 as well. They are just like the ALEX Toys Little Hands Ready Set Write and Wipe Away, but cheaper. I loved having these for my kids.
My favorite spot to look around is right here. Here you can find tons of different flash cards and mix and match sets for only $1.00. Since we have many of these already I just picked up the Spanish ones. This year I plan on incorporating some light Spanish into the kids vocabulary. I love the freedom that homeschooling gives you to be able to pick and choose what you wish to add to learning. These flash cards will help out great as a learning too for the basics! They also had other variations like numbers and animals for elementary kids.
These small booklets are great to have on hand for your elementary aged children. Some of them are even dry erase ones. I love using these as a way for them to practice and have fun doing it. They are small and easy to pack and bring for car rides.
I know these dry erase pockets are very popular. These are by far the best price on these. You can find them at just $1.00 at Target. These are great because you can literally put anything in them to use and draw on the outside with a dry erase marker.
I love these small little dry erase practice boards you can pick up for just $1.00. They have various ones you can choose from or choose all!
How much fun do kids have using dry erase boards? I don’t know about your kiddos, but mine love them! These are great little boards to have to practice some math skills on for just $1.00. You gotta love the prices!
Oh one of my favorite finds are these felt money bags! Oh I just love them and the kids have so much fun playing with them. I love that you can put them right back in the bag when you are done. These are just $1.00 you guys!!
