Be Aware of Fake Facebook Coupon Offers

Heads up everyone. If you are Facebook then you will definitely see a lot of spam coupon offers. One popular one going around right now is for Dollar General. There is another for Aldi’s. These fake offers will say you will get high value coupons if you like or share their post. Then more then likely they high jack your Facebook account and share these in groups under your name causing you to either get reported to Facebook or removed from groups.

The most recent one I saw was a Facebook Page claiming to be an Aldi store offering up a $75 coupon off a $80 purchase. The first hint would be that this Facebook page just started out with 151 likes and is not established. Not to mention the fact that stores don’t offer coupons like this. They are phishing for something – whether it’s likes, comments, Facebook activity to grow their page, or emails. Don’t fall for these offers you guys!
