Old Baby Changing Table made into a Bench!
Over the Summer I had many ideas on re using my daughters crib and changing table. This is our second daughter, and we do not plan on having more kiddos. So re purposing sounded like a good idea! I am saving the crib to make a daybed for the porch of the house (when we buy our own in the future). So the project began for my Husband 😉 🙂
Above is the picture first starting out. The ends are from the changing table. We bought wood, paint, and hinges, etc for around $50 – $60 at Lowes.
Here is the bench painted and ready to have a cushion put on it!
Here is the Final Project! All I did was add some cushion and stapled the fabric to the inside 🙂 The top opens up and you can fill it up! Kind of like a “catch all”. And now we have a place for people to sit and put their shoes on or take them off.
I Love it 🙂
I can’t wait for Ian to outgrow his crib so I can turn it into a desk. LOL
I know I saved our crib to do something with it too 🙂 Sounds fun!
Hi Kristy!
Love this idea! My baby changing tables are long gone, but now I wish I would of held on to one!
Thanks! 🙂
