$15 Off Build-A-Bear Coupon Offered to Members (Check Your Emails)
Sad news today if you went out to participate in the first ever Build-A-Bear Pay Your Age Event. This event had hundreds if not thousands, I was told, of people lined up to get their cheap furry friends for their kiddos. We have been promoting all week this event.Unfortunately Build-A-Bear was forced to close stores in all their U.S. Stores due to crowd and safety concerns. While some people were able to get their cheap furry friends, many were not. They were offering $15 coupon vouchers to those who showed up but could not get it. They are now also offering a $15 coupon vouch to all Build-A-Bear Bonus Club Members. In order to use the coupon you must log into your account by midnight on July 15th and your coupon voucher will be valid through August 31st to use in stores only.Be sure to sign up if you have not yet, as they have a new promotion I’m told where you can take your kids for their birthday and Pay their Age for the special Birthday Bear they have. What do you think? Is this a fair offering for your troubles?
No, I am not upset. They were not obligated to have a great deal and promotion like that, and they were not obligated to offer coupons to those who were not able to get one. Parents should have used common sense to realize that, in an age of information saturation through sites like facebook, etc., things would be crazy. If you have children who cannot deal with situations such as happened yesterday, then take a pass.
Very upset with Build A Bear. My daughter took my grandson, who is 2, the lines were so long that they were turning people away. Not to mention that a 2 year old is not going to stand in a line that could take hours! Build A Bear needs to come up with a deal where there are not so many people at one time
I’d be upset too! They should have came up with a better way and should have known it was gonna be crazy busy!
