Crispy Bacon In The Air Fryer
Have you tried cooking your bacon in an air fryer? If not, you may be missing out!! I thought cooking my bacon on a cookie sheet in the oven was easy. Boy, this is so simple you guys! All thanks to my husband thinking about trying it! Here is how we get Crispy Bacon In The Air Fryer.
I have the Big Boss Oil-less Air Fryer, 16 Quart you can find online here. I like that I can see through and watch my items cooking. You can find various other varieties online here as well as many deals often through out the year. This one comes with two racks and a basket. Maybe other goodies as well, but I tend to misplace things.
We took a pack of sliced bacon from the grocery store and cut it in half. Then took that and split it up between the top rack and the bottom rack. We set the temperature for 400 degrees and timer for 10 minutes.
After ten minutes I took the top rack bacon out and switched the bottom bacon onto the top rack. Be careful as it will be hot! Then I cook for another 5 minutes to crisp up the rest of the bacon.
It’s hard to take a picture with the air fryer lit up, but you can see how it looks when it’s cooking. I love that I can watch it while it cooks and keep an easy eye on my food.
You can see how crispy the bacon came out with only the short amount of time it was in the air fryer. With the time we used we got crispy cooked bacon in air fryer. Didn’t have to worry about grease splatter or any of that. It was really easy, and tasted great! I liked the fact that it wasn’t sitting in the bacon grease while it was cooking. It all dripped off leaving the bacon more dry with out all the oil on it.
Let me know if you have tried cooking your bacon this way too, or if you have another way you love!
