Example of Matching Coupons Correctly to Products

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here

CouponExampleReadingAbove is an example of how to use coupons correctly. It is very important for us to read the coupons fully and match them to the proper products as indicated on the coupons. For example, the above coupon is for $1.00 off any Colgate Enamel Health, Total, Optic White, Max Fresh or Sensitive Toothpaste that came out in the 8-24 SS. This coupon is very specific and can only be used on the products indicated: Colgate Enamel Health, Total, Optic White, Max Fresh or Sensitive Toothpaste. You cannot use this coupon on the Colgate Tarter Protection, Cavity, Baking Soda, or any other variety not listed. Any other use of the coupon is considered coupon fraud. You cannot use a coupon on the wrong product, and the store will to get reimbursed for using it on the wrong product. Using our coupons properly is important so we don’t see changes in coupons, policies, etc. Not to mention it is illegal to commit coupon fraud and you can get in trouble.

This goes for other coupons as well. Just because there is the word “any” on the coupon does not always mean any variety. Read the coupon, and what follows can be more specific like the above example.

Please read your coupons fully and use them to the best of your knowledge.
