Olaf Paper Towel Snowman
Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
If you have kids, chances are you have watched the Frozen movie and they loved it! My girls love anything Frozen! I finally got around to doing a cute little craft with them. We made an Olaf Paper Towel Doll. It is super easy and I just used every day items around my house!
Materials Used:
- Paper Towels
- Twist Ties
- Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
First we started off with one sheet of paper towel. We cut that into stripes and rolled two pieces into small balls to put inside a second sheet of paper. You take that balled up paper towel and put it in the middle of the larger uncut paper towel. You fold that one up around it to form the bottom “snow ball” and take a twist tie, or rubber band and tie around. Repeat for second “snow ball” layer. When you get to the head part you will not need to add any stuffing to form the shape. You should be able to just gather it together and add the twist tie to the top.
Then you will want to cut off some body part pieces out of construction paper (or color regular paper and add to it!). I just free hand cut them out and had the kids glue them on!
Finally, you will want to take two small square pieces of paper towel and ball them up to glue to the bottom as feet!
Keep in mind this is a fun craft with the kids and does not have to be perfect, Just fun!! 🙂
How cute are they?! These are the Olaf Snow Men my two daughters made today! 🙂
