Simple Pizza Crescent Ring
Simple Pizza Crescent Ring
I don’t know about you, but pizza is a favoriteĀ in my family. What’s great about pizza meals is that your kiddos can even help make them!
Ingredients
- 2 Cans Crescent Rolls
- Jar of Sauce
- Shredded Cheese
- Pepperoni
Directions
Start off by getting a cookie sheet ready. You can lay tin foil down for less of a clean up like I did, or you can spray your pan. Then you open your can of crescent rolls. Here is where it got a tiny complicated for me. You have to make sure you layer them the right way for this ring to work.
You want to keep them in squares. That way when you fold the sides up they all come together good and make the ring. You want to have 8 squares all together. You then spread the sauce in a circle around the crescent rolls. Add your preferred cheese and toppings. We are “plain Janes” and just like cheese and pepperoni.
I also have done all the triangles next to each other angled and that worked just as fine too. You will find what works for you!
When you have your toppings in there you can then fold the sides up and tuck them into the inside ring. This way you don’t have toppings spilling out when it bakes. We added a little cheese to the top of ours.
We baked ours in the over at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Everyone really enjoyed the combination of pizza with the soft flaky crescent rolls! You can top with some sprinkles of cheese or I like to add some garlic and parsley to the top of ours.
