Wegmans Delivery Service (select areas)

I have been wanting to share about this for a weeks now and keep forgetting! Today in our Wegmans group Laurinda was nice enough to share with us that there is a coupon code to use on this delivery service! Thanks Laurinda! Please read below all the details on this new program that Wegmans is offering. The home delivery service is for a very select area, and has a lot of details to it. At check out, you can add your Wegmans Shoppers Club number to receive available discounts, and choose a delivery window within one hour, two hours, or up to seven days in advance. There seems to be a price mark-up on items purchased online too. To be honest the details are a little confusing, there are so many. This is a new program so there may be some changes here and there.

Currently the delivery fee is free on your first order. If you order now with in the first two weeks they are offering free delivery for a year with instacart with $35+ orders. Use coupon code HIROCHESTER20 to save $20 off $35+ order.

How Wegmans Delivery Service Works

Instacart is currently operating in select locations around some of the Wegmans stores. They will be working to bring this service to as many locations as possible. Right now only available for those who live in the select areas. You can see the list here.

Order fresh groceries online. You can shop at Wegmans from any device.
Schedule the delivery. Get your groceries in as little as an hour, or when you want them.
Get it delivered to your doorstep. Fresh handpicked groceries from Wegmans to your front door!

It states that you can find different discounts like shown above, but you cannot use digital coupons or paper coupons on your home delivery orders. They also have a referral program to earn $10 when your friends sign up under you and order and they get $10 as well.

They offer special coupon discounts on select items. You can choose to shop through the coupon offers. You must click “ADD COUPON” button to get the coupon applied. They are limit one coupon no matter how many you order. If you do have clipped coupons in your digital coupon offer account, and order an item it applied to they are allowing you to receive a credit in the amount of your coupon to apply to your next Wegmans order. Within a week of your delivery you will receive an email from Instacart notifying you of the credit on your account to use next time.

They are offering special promotions on select items like purchasing $20 or more on select box top items you will save $5 (must have min $35 order). There are a few other $5 off when you spend $20 offers as well. These are different than the digital coupon offers and sales in stores. Those do not apply to online purchases.

You must click “ADD COUPON” in order to have the coupons come off. I tried getting the $5 off coupons, but they did not show up in my cart. I’m not sure if it would be taken off later in the check out process. I cannot completely order as I do not live in the areas.

Customers will be able to order most items available in-store including frozen items, produce, meat, seafood and prepared foods. The below items will not be available through Instacart at this time:

Alcohol
Pharmacy prescription
OTC drugs / products where ID is required
Catering
Market Café subs, pizza, hot & cold food bars
Special order products (e.g. custom cakes)
Gift cards

Ordering Details

Choose a delivery time: Friday or Monday 3pm-6pm or Saturday 11am-3pm.
Include an Order Comment requesting delivery, including your home address and contact
phone number to reach whoever will be at home to receive the delivery.
They call you in the morning on your delivery day for credit card info.
You will receive a call or text prior to delivery with the expected arrival time.
Your order is stored under proper temps until the delivery driver arrives at the store,
and then your order is placed in thermal containers during delivery.
If you can’t be home at your scheduled delivery time, please call
Wegmans Personal Shopping at 218-2727.

Are there Fees for this Service?

• $26 Delivery Fee will be added to the $5.95 Shopping Fee—these will be included in your
final Personal Shopping Total.
• Your final total will be calculated after they select your order and will be based on weighted items
and any substitutions or out of stock items. They will charge your card once they are done shopping your order.
• Catering order can be combined with the delivery of orders. Just let the Catering Team
know. You will be charged the Catering Delivery Fee but not the Personal Shopping Delivery Fee.
• They are requesting there to be no tipping.
• $100 minimum order required for home delivery, not including the Shopping and Delivery Fees.
• Does state that says delivery charges can change depending on how busy they are.
