I think it is fun Getting to Know Your Bloggers! I will be featuring other Bloggers who do (generally) the same thing that I do – share those deals!
This week’s featured Blogger is Maura from Happy Deal – Happy Day.
She specializes in Wegmans Deals! I am happy to share a little about her with you all! 🙂

- Do you work other than blogging?
Being a mom is 24/7 – so yes I work for my 2 daughters. 🙂
- Do you have kids?
2 daughters
- What is your favorite hobby besides blogging/couponing?
Crafts! Because I love crafting, I try and also post about any frugal crafts that I’ve concocted so that others can share in the joy. 🙂
- What made you start blogging?
I was a high school science teacher for 8 years before my first daughter was born. After she was born, and living on one income, I became addicted to coupons and other coupon bloggers. During that time, I also watched the movie Julie & Julia and was intrigued by the social interaction Julie was getting with her blog. I was also lonely at the time transitioning from being a full time teacher, to being home with a baby. When my oldest was almost 1, I took an online blogging class, and took the plunge!
- How long have you been blogging for?
3 years
- What type of deals do you post about?
Wegmans is my favorite grocery store. Amazon is my favorite online store. I love to post about apparel, accessories, shoes, kitchen gadgets, and baby toy/gear deals as well.
- What is one of your favorite deals in the past?
Designer jeans I bought off of 6pm.com for $20 when they retail for over $100.
- Do you only shop for items you have coupons for?
Nope! Not realistic! I do try to menu plan around what I have deals for, but not every item in my cart will have a coupon to match it.
- Do you have any tips for new couponers?
You can’t get every deal!!!! Pick one store – just one for awhile. Be loyal there, and see how much money you save.
