Make Your Own Stickers

Turn any material, from magazine pages and maps to gift wrap and photos into your own custom lick-and-stick stickers with a simple recipe.

MATERIALS  NEEDED
1 gelatin packet, sugar-free (small envelope, about 2 1/2 teaspoons)*
Bowl
3 tablespoons boiling water
Assorted paper**
Scissors
Paintbrush
Spoon

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cut pieces of paper into shapes.
  2. Empty the packet of gelatin into a bowl. Add 3 tablespoons boiling water and stir until dissolved. If crafting with kids, allow mixture to cool for a few minutes before painting.
  3. Paint the dissolved gelatin onto backs of prepared papers with a small paintbrush, then let the paper dry.
  4. When the stickers are dry, just lick the gelatin-coated side and stick to your desired surface.
