My Tops Orders Last Week – a little over 50% Savings!

So Last Week I did FOUR separate Orders through out the week at Tops. I do this so I get the 100 gas points for every 10 coupons I use. Because if you get them all in the same order, the first 10 coupons only count. Of course this can be time consuming and a bit of a pain to do sometimes. But as always it all depends on how much time you have to split the orders, etc.

Gaining $0.10 in gas points

Gained $0.30 in gas points

Above I Spent $14.06 and Saved $20.34

Gained $0.10 in gas points (was supposed to be $0.30 but somebody didn’t buy the right amount …7…. to get the bonus points! lol whoops!)

Above I Spent $57.71 and Saved $27.49 (over $30 in meat alone)

Gained $0.20 in gas points

Total Altogether Paid- $95.64

Total Altogether Saved – $107.29

Have $0.80 in gas points (should be $1.00 but I messed up darn!)

I will be sending out for $8 in rebates from purchasing the pizzas too!

So overall if I would have done this in one order I would not have gotten $0.40 extra in gas points, not been able to submit for an extra $4 in rebates, and not been able to use my one per person tops and wegmans coupons. This is about a little more than 50% savings altogether. That’s the average savings you can see at Grocery Stores in out area.

To me some weeks it is worth it, and others it is not. What do you think? Do you do this too to maximize your savings? Or is your time more valuable then the extra savings? 🙂
