Top 4 Homeschooling Organization Items that I Love
We recently added on to our home an addition that is 20′ by 12′ that we built ourselves. One of the rooms that we built was especially for our homeschooling. I finally got it organized to my liking and wanted to share with you what my personal favorite items are for helping keep our materials and other items organized. Staying organized can totally help your homeschooling days go a little bit smoother. Here are my Top 4 Homeschooling Organization Items that I love.
First up is my book shelf. Instead of using a traditional book shelf that can get quite pricey, we opted for a cubicle organizer. We purchased ours at our local Walmart and put it together. We actually have a few of these in our home because that’s how handy I find them with organizing. You can use the shelves as is or you can add bins to them. I found that I like the cubes to help break up and organize my books further. It also helps keep them stacked together really nice.
My second favorite organization item I love actually happened by accident. I spotted these folder holders in my local Dollar Tree. I thought they had some cute patterns and I could use them for something…and I did! I use these to put our magazines in them, some thin books, and even some notebooks and other odds and ends.
This one here I know is super popular! It’s a drawer rolling storage cart. You can find these online at many retailers. I personally got mine marked down on clearance at my local BJ’s Wholesale Club for under $20. I was so excited. I use this to put in our school books, notebooks, computers, and other items we use daily. I have the option to roll it out into my dining room or anywhere else if need be.
The last item I use to help keep my homeschool items organized is bins. My favorite is the ones I find at Dollar Tree, but only because they are so cheap! I do love me some pretty baskets from Michael’s… but that can get pricey! So I use various style bins I find at Dollar Tree. As you can see I have another cubicle organizer that I use to put these bins in. All the containers and items you see here I found for only $1.00 at my local Dollar Tree. I use them to store our crafts, utensils, paints, and anything else I can think of. I even keep a small cup on our table for pens and pencils I got from there too.
