Valentine’s Poofy Heart Craft
Today we had a Snow Day! What better than to do some themed crafts?! My girls love creating fun crafts with their momma. I love helping them too! Today we created what my oldest daughter calls a Poofy Heart. 🙂 I couldn’t think of a better name besides Tissue Paper Hearts, so I decided to go with the fun kid themed name “Poofy Heart” haha!
What You Need:
Construction Paper
Tissue Paper
Scissors
Glue
I don’t know about you, but I happen to be a pack rat (that’s what my mother calls it – but hey she does it too!). I keep and re use whatever I can. I do have a ton of tissue paper left over from birthdays. The tissue paper can make for some great crafts! I took the different colors and folded the paper. Then I cut long strips that I again cut into small squares.
Then you can trace a heart on a piece of construction paper. I like to think I’m pretty good at free hand drawing one 😉 Then you can bunch those pieces of tissue paper and glue them to your hearts. It’s a fun and simple craft that you can enjoy for Valentine’s Day, or any day with your kiddos.
