List of Tops Markets Stores Closing, Dates, and what this means for us Couponers…
We have some sad news for Tops Markets shoppers… They are closing the top 10 low performing stores by end of November 2018. The dates may vary on the official day they will be shutting doors. By now many are aware that Tops Markets filled for bankruptcy. So it’s no surprise that they are closing many stores. It is definitely sad news for our coupon community as Tops has been a wonderful place to use coupons at and earn many rewards there. My local store I shop at is on the list to close.
List of Tops Markets Stores Closing:
- Forgham Street, Lyons
- Hamilton Street, Geneva
- West Genesee Street, Syracuse
- South Salina Street, Syracuse
- Lake Avenue, Rochester
- N. Winton Road, Rochester
- Pittsford/Palmyra Road, Fairport
- West 1st Street South, Fulton
- South Main Street, Elmira
- Lake Flower Avenue, Saranac Lake
What this means for us Couponers:
- less deals on groceries
- less deals on household items
- no more gas points and gas savings for those that shopped at the stores closing that had the gas stations
- one less store that accepts coupons to shop at
- fear of more Tops stores to follow suit
- possibility for new grocery chain to take over
- other store to offer incentives for Tops customers
Don’t worry. Here are My Momma Taught Me while we have already seen a major decrease in good deals and coupons offered as a whole as well as at Tops Markets, we will still continue to find ways to help you save! We will still keep posting Tops deals until the last store closes. We will also be sharing more tips and ways to save at various stores.
