My Tops Markets Shopping Trip – 40 items for $68
Today I went Grocery Shopping at Tops Markets. I got a bunch of items based off of sales and coupons I had available, and items I planned on using in my new menu planning I am starting up again (stay tuned…I plan on sharing that with you all too!) Here is the breakdown of what I got.
2 Pepperidge Farms Texas Toast – $2.00 each
4 Tony’s Pizzas – $2.50 each

1 Fresh Homestyle Roasting Chicken or Whole Fryer – $0.99 /lb. (about $5.xx)
1 White or Russet Potatoes 8 lb – $2.99 each
1 Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks – $2.00 (darn they were Frozen and daughter insisted….LOL)
1 Gallon of Milk – $3.xx
2 Scotties Tissues – $1.00 each (had kittens on them!)
2 Grade AA Medium Tops Eggs Dozen – BOGO $2.19
2 Apple Cider 64 oz – BOGO $3.99
1 Tops 99% Fat Free Boneless Chicken – BOGO $3.99/lb (for type I got $6.xx for 2 pkgs)
1 Big Pack Ground Beef 80% lean 4-5 lb (typically around $17-$22 a package I paid $18.xx) Get the following 7 items FREE

So in the end I purchased 40 items for $68 and got back $0.30 off a gallon of gas! I know have enough items added to make my dinners/meals for the week. I buy my groceries based off of the weekly sales, and stock up when there is a really good deal. So when I make my meals I used some sale items for the week in conjunction with my stock pile items! 🙂 If that makes sense?! LOL 🙂
